Annabel AKA Bachelorette is also heading to the semi-remote Rakaia river mouth in Canterbury to record her album in March, which is also the location of her ‘too heavy to move to Auckland’ organs. Her EP “The End of Things” seems to also have been a favorite, ending up on some notable best of 2005 lists (Grant Smithes in the Sunday Star Times and Smoke CDs) and it’s been pretty popular too – it’s now into its third pressing.

Look out for Bachelorette in Wellington on Friday the 21st of October at Happy with the Ruby Suns and the Chandeliers

Lots coming up on Arch Hill right now, but the main thing today is the release of the seven track Bachelorette EP "The End of Things". She played a fantastic set to a full house at the Odeon in Auckland on Friday night and is heading down south shortly...see gigs at the bottom of the page for details. Bachelorette - The End of Things EP
Bachelorette is the solo delivery vehicle for home recording tinkerer Annabel Alpers, with a little help from her friends Andrea Holmes (ex Fang) and local legend Mick Elborado. These days Bachelorette is getting out of the bedroom and enjoying some solo performances.
