Ghostplane Live on National Radio |
3.30pm Ghostplane Live at Indigo Ghostplane deliver a mix of "experimental indie rock/pop with a side of dark alt-country thrown in. " Their first EP -2004's 'Panther Valley Country Club' - saw the Wellington four-piece compared to Pavement, Beta Band, Gomez, The 3Ds, Bailterspace, and The Go Betweens. Their debut full-length album 'The Sleepy Lagoon' will be released in a couple of weeks. A long-time fixture on the live scene (Ghostplane evolved from Dana *clair in early 2003) the band have put in some excellent support shows for Phoenix Foundation, The Verlaines, Calexico and Lambchop. And it is in this context that we hear from them today, performing a support set for Lambchop Live at Indigo Bar, Wellington on Sunday 6 March 2005 Repeated Monday 9.33pm
