Pine EP and May 2007 Tour Dates |
Pine Mini album out May and Gig dates Twelve Hour Collision is the name of the new Pine release featuring seven new tracks, as well as two live tracks and two live videos taken from their extended “House” tour of New Zealand. What is the ‘House” tour you may ask? Well it was a deliberate plan to move away from the traditional venue, poster, flier, radio kind of thing and bring a more intimate and personal setting to the show. In fact, an important part of the tour was recording everything on a portable pro-tools studio and filming it on 16mm film. So really it was a just an excuse for a recording session, party, video shoot and live gig all rolled into one...and you get some of the results on “Twelve Hour Collision” Pine May Tour Dates Thursday 3rd of May – Craftwerk – St Kevin’s Arcade Auckland Saturday 5th of May – Wine Cellar – Auckland Friday 11th May – Harbourlight – with John White and his twelve piece band

Upcoming Releases Your Way. While things may seem a little quiet on the release front up at Arch Hill ? don?t worry - things are brewing away nicely under the lid. In probable order of release over the coming months...subject to some creative type variation...we bring you.
An EP by Christchurch hi-lo-fi bedroom tech specialist Bachelorette (Annabel Alpers from Hawaii 5-0) who combines old skool drum machine beats, real drums, analogue keyboards, guitars and a miscellaneous selection of retro-futuristic effects. Bachelorette produces her own mix of vocal layered electrosynth-pop - with a touch of psychedelic country for good measure.
An EP by Auckland?s alt-country kings the Boxcar Guitars, featuring the track "My Love is Blue" and a bunch of new tunes - if you have been anywhere near a live music gig in Auckland over the last year then it is likely you will have seen them strumming it up live. They have played shows with everyone from Lambchop to Lemonhead-Evan-Dando ...and the new Ghostplane album is sounding monumentally good...
