| THE HAINTS OF DEAN HALL 'SLEEPER' out April 12th 2010 |

The Haints of Dean Hall have a new album “Sleeper” released on Arch Hill on 12th of April. The album is a digital only release and is available on iTunes, Amplifier and from the Arch Hill Website. If you want to listen to the album visit the Arch Hill listening post here. The Haints of Dean Hall are a trans-Tasman brother and sister in law duo. Once their musical tastes were so opposing; Kathryn found the guitar noises of Stephen curious, loud and bewildering, and Stephen could hardly sit through a hearing of a Conway Twitty/Loretta Lynn duet so loved by Kathryn. That was years ago. "The mystery continues as this poetic, dark alt.country outfit once more -- as on their impressive self-titled debut album -- explore understated, musically and emotionally stark songs which sometimes evoke empty rooms in spider-webbed old houses and an emotional ennui." Graham Reid - Elsewhere.co.nz reviews Sleeper
